How to Perform an Autopsy

What makes an autopsy forensic?
- Medical autopsy is conducted to determine the medical factors relating to death and search for any illnesses from which deceased my have suffered
- Forensic autopsy is performed initially to determine not only COD (cause of death) and any illnesses the deceased had but also time, mechanism, and manner of death.
